Review season used to mean reconstructing months of conversations from memory. Now each review has a real transcript and a summary of the wins, the feedback and the goals. My write-ups are specific and I can back them up.

Performance review questions, answered.

How does CraftNote help with performance reviews?
Record the review conversation and CraftNote gives you a transcript plus a structured summary — achievements, feedback, and the goals you set together. Instead of writing from memory afterwards, you write your review from an accurate record of what was actually said.
Can it pull the summary into a review format?
Yes. CraftNote summarizes the conversation into clear sections you can drop straight into your review write-up, then export as PDF or DOCX or copy into your review tool. There is no direct HRIS integration, so you paste the summary where you need it.
Is the review recording kept private?
Performance conversations are sensitive, so your notes are private to your account by default and encrypted in transit and at rest. Recordings are automatically deleted after 60 days, and you can delete any note and its audio at any time.
Can I look back at the 1:1s that led up to the review?
If you recorded those check-ins with CraftNote, yes — every 1:1 is saved and searchable, so you can ground the review in specific moments from the whole cycle instead of just the last few weeks.
