Are my HR notes private? Who can see them?

Your notes are private to your account by default — nothing is shared until you choose to share it. Recordings and notes are encrypted in transit and at rest, and recordings are automatically deleted after 60 days. You control every share, and you can delete any note and its audio whenever you want.

Does a bot join the interview or call?

Only if you want it to. On Mac and Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc), CraftNote records the call's audio directly, so nothing joins the meeting — useful when you'd rather not have a bot sitting in a candidate call. On mobile, Safari, or for a call you're not attending, you can send an optional bot into the Zoom, Teams or Google Meet interview instead.

Instead, you can export any interview note or summary as a PDF or DOCX, or generate a shareable link, and attach or paste it into your ATS, scorecard or candidate record. Yes. CraftNote transcribes and translates in 80+ languages with automatic language detection, so a multilingual interview or 1:1 is transcribed accurately and can be summarized in the language you prefer.

Does it label who said what in an interview?
